Despite winning the Malaysian Grand Prix with utmost ease, Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso wants more speed from his McLaren car. There is no doubt that Ferrari has the fastest car in the grid at the moment but some reckless driving especially from Felipe Massa handed Alonso his first victory of the season at Malaysia. Being a champion he is, Alonso is pretty much aware that Ferrari will not do the same mistake again so it’s better for his future that McLaren give them more impetus in terms of speed and control.

According to Alonso,

There is a good feeling in the team at the moment and we all want to be out there racing and fighting for wins and points, but we also know that we need to find more speed and everyone is working hard on this.

Good news for Alonso and his team McLaren is that rookie driver Lewis Hamilton is also driving well and if he maintain his form, it will make the task of Alonso lot easier in winning the driver championship as well as constructor championship.
